| There's so many thoughts I want to put down on paper/Xangaspace. How the popularity of the Daily Show and Colbert Report, coupled with the maturation of the early-90's yuppies and the Gen-Xers, could symbolize a large body of relatively pragmatic moderates ready to be tapped (or DS/CR could just be where liberals go to mock Bush; 2008 could answer a lot of questions there). How that could be combined with the 2000 Gore/Nader fracture of the liberals and the current neo-con/moderate-Republican split to grow a powerful third party overnight. I mean, voter turnout is so low, the numbers of the disenchanted and apathetic are so large, it could be so easy to just reach and and grab that, roll it over into a political movement. But they don't. And I can't put everything down. It doesn't coalesce. I have all these random thoughts flying around about all this, and I can't form them into something coherent, a step-by-step guide to fixing American politics, but I know it's right... there. Frustrating as all hell. | | |
| I'm here. But, not. Starchat doesn't want me coming in, apparently. Someone go to #starchat and find out why. | | |
| So, my roommate just moved out and left me with an $83 cable bill. Also, despite being parked right across from my car, he neglected to tell me about the parking tickets piling up (since I was not, in fact, parked in a spot due to snow covering the lines). Good riddance, fucker | | |
| I am pretty much 100% sure that I see random future events in my dreams. Not important ones, more like scenes that will one day happen. My explanation for this is the huge number of deja-vus I get and half-remembered dreams.
Maybe I should start keeping one of those dream logs or whatever.
